This Medieval European tour is part kind-of Medieval since some of the buildings were actually built in the late 1800s to help boost tourism. In the 13th century, Ghent was one of the largest cities in Europe, and now it's a college city with a fun vibe that goes vegetarian on Thursdays. It's worth doing w walking tour during the day and then strolling to the various bars that dot the review at night.
The big thing here is just enjoying the city by walking around and soaking in its funky, young and spunky vibe. Start by doing a walking tour.
